I came to play with cinema without even knowing what cinema was. Had I known, I wouldn't have come. This ocean of images and sound has no bottom at all. No north, south, east, or west. Where do I swim! How far? And where do I quietly stop! Life comes and goes the way it does, whether we want it to or not — it arrives just so, and leaves just so. Let's see what happens when we fold cinema into this ordinary coming and going of life. Making a film without really making a film — is that even possible! Let's see! Rather than forcing a plot together, let's set a trap for one instead. Let's see if cinema wanders in and gets caught.
